Adrien Broner net worth

$9 Million

Adrien Broner net worth and career earnings: Adrien Broner is an American professional boxer who has a net worth of $9 million. Adrien Broner was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 28, 1989. He began his professional career in 2008 going up against Allante Davis, David Warren Huffman, and Ramon Flores, winning each match with first-round knockouts.

Broner won the vacant WBC Youth Intercontinental super featherweight title over Carlos Claudio in June 2010. He then won the vacant WBC-USNBC lightweight title by defeating John Revish in January 2011. Also in 2011 Broner went up against Daniel Ponce De Leon, which had a slow beginning but got better as the battle went on. Although many felt the match should have been declared a draw, Broner was named the winner and with the win he took the vacant WBO Inter-Continental super featherweight title.

Next, he was expected to go ten rounds with Jason Litzau, but Broner ended it late in the first round with a combination straight right, left hook and right uppercut and won the vacant WBC USNBC super featherweight title. In 2011 he went up against Vicente Martin Rodriguez and won the WBO Super Featherweight World title, but soon after was stripped of his title because of being three and a half pounds over the limit for the Super Featherweight class.

In 2012 Broner went up against Vincente Escobedo and won in the fifth round with a Technical Knockout. In November 2012 he defeated Antonio DeMarco to win the WBC lightweight title. Broner won the WBA welterweight title in 2013 and lost it in his first defeat the same year. He won the WBA international super lightweight title in 2014 and won the same vacated title again in 2015. He has fought more than 38 professional bouts and won at least 24 by knockout. On April 21, 2018, he earned a guaranteed $1 million to fight Jessie Vargas, a match that ended in a controversial draw. Broner’s purse for his January 2019 fight against Manny Pacquiao is guaranteed at $2.5 million before Pay Per View bonuses.
